Taiko Drum Master

Might as well continue on this tangent of games that are yestercalendar's news. So I'm at Zellers the other day, because, you know, I buy all my goods there.. and um, something in the showcase caught my attention. It was tacky, it was over the top Jpap, and it was a Bemani game. I figured I might as well. I thought the price tag said 48$, the topmost one at least.

The rest of it consists for me going STRAIGHT to Britney Spears' "Toxic" in Normal mode. Pretty decent game thus far, visually more offensive than Katamari Damacy. If you thought the clicking on the guitar was noisy on Guitar Hero, you'll need to crank the volume LOUD in order to mask the drum, which, BTW, you could probably bang with a mallet with no problem.

The gameplay is not too diverse, less deep than Donkey Konga, but it's more fun to play with the sticks. The skin colored sticks.... ugh.

Anyway, two sensors in the middle, and two on the sides, so you can do some cymbal style rides and stuff. Really disappointed at the minigames. The tenant downstairs thought we were power-chopping vegetables.
