For those of you who don't know who Tim Schafer is, I suggest you check out his game bio on MobyGames here. I've been a big fan on Schafer's work longer than I thought, as he's responsible for my first adventure/survival horror game Maniac Mansion. He's also responsible for other bastions of PC gaming such as The Secret of Monkey Island, Grim Fandango, and the multi-platformed Psychonauts.
Burtal Legend, as announced by Next-Gen.biz and a random google click to Joystiq comes right on time with Guitar Hero's popularity being soon to fizzle. Jack Black will be voicing the main character, and a Schafer game is always a promise of some great laughs.
Go Tim!!! Go Tim... um... I mean... ROCK AAAAAAAWWWWN!!!!

Gamestop says the game is in pre-sale, and target shipping date is November 2008.
Damn. This game is too far away.
No PC version, BTW. PS3 and Xbox360 only.
