I once read that blogging about blogs is a definite no-no nowadays (couldn't find the blog I read on this, typical), but things still need to be said about this disposable medium. Notably, that blogging about something to people that you see on a daily basis, really stumps future conversation if you've been thorough on the topic at hand. It's a bit like... sending postcards to people who live on your street. It was difficult to discuss Ninja Scroll series because everything's been said, but I did notice a fun opportunity to exploit a former character flaw of mine: talking about things that would otherwise be mundane and useless in a day-to-day conversation, which was a collegiate sport of mine.
That being said, I said goodbye to my first pair of Airwalks this week. I was never really a brand-whore, but a former girlfriend of mine was adamant that I should own a pair for reasons of sheer comfort. I gotta say, she was right on the comfort, and I'm quite sure that she was unaware of their durability.
These Airwalks lasted me ten (10) years, and while they are great for skateboarding (which I worship, but unfortunately don't practice), dancing with Airwalks just allowed for some sweet, sweet gliding.
And judging from the horrible
blur, my cheap FinePix may be next.

Dude -- I have the exact same pair of Airwalks. Well, I at least *had* them...I'm not sure if I got rid of them or not...
And yes, once you've exhausted a topic online, it's harder to discuss IRL as it feels either redundant or pointless. Still, surely, there must be more to say. There *must* be more than this...
I think it's a win win situation. Less chat, more games.
We should plan our arcade get together soon.
The place needs a bar, btw.
