The Summer that never Quit

You know, there's about 5 blogs in my queue that are about "serious" topics, i.e., topics that are not centered around video games. I'm just getting this feeling that this blog is not being read, and while I could pop that suspicion by automagically putting a counter on this page, I will continue to live on with the sheer discomfort of thinking that I am speaking to the dark.

So, recently, there's a beehive at my window. Fact about me: scared of bees. I've decided to lookup some beehive videos on YouTube. There's a.... a copious amount of people who take on beehives mano-a-mano, so I watched them, scary, before getting back to this blog: The Summer that never Quit.

It's time once again, to have a little show and tell about the bombs that were dropped on me this weekend. That's right, they were dropped on ME. I didn't go to war, nothing, I just walked into the store, hoping they'd be a Mac Classic, nothing more.

Pictures, please.

ATARI 2600 "Darth Vader" model. My first, and in the box.

SNES System with SNES Game Genie and Random Canon A/C adaptor: no RCA connector.

Boxed Colecovision, not the best box, but still a box! Bloated with games.

Details:

the 2600 VCS had a TurboGrafx/16 control pad inside

I also picked up a plastic bag for 3,99$

Two PS1 controllers, one native, one 3rd party, THE MISSING RCA CABLE FOR THE SNES, Some SEGA VHF Adaptor and a PS1 Multitap!!!

My total at the cash was 49,99, tax in, all to good will.
