Facebook "Posts by Public" Issue No.1

I love using the "Posts by Public" Search, especially after major events or uproars. However, today I opten for a sure-shot-always-active term. I really don't know why I didn't think of querying "repost" sooner. It's the most fun I've had since MetaCrawler's MetaSpy!

You might have done it once, or maybe more. You've seen a status that you like or agree with, and you've "re-posted" it in hopes that someone will do the same and perpetuate this information to infinity.  Maybe because it was worth spreading, maybe because it was clever, or maybe because the cause is one that is dear to you. For the most part, people do not validate information and just "re-post" on a fit of madness that this little girl is actually in a ditch right now, they re-post it "Just in case".

For those of us who do not feel concerned by your cause or your pleas, or are not re-posting because we already got that message in an email 14 years go -- it' a lot of clutter. It doesn't even come from your own mind or heart, it's a copy, of a copy, of a pasty, of a copy.

Follow the madness of pleas that happen pretty much every single second on Facebook as the past frantically and repeatedly bangs its head on the present, the eternal stream of un-consciousness, live:
