Facebook "Posts by Public" Issue No.2

THEY'RE GONNA START CHARGING! How many times do we keep hearing that about free services. This satellite has been lost in orbit for quite sometime now. We've seen it with hotmail, with ICQ, and with every other free service.

Once again, as usual, it's facebook's turn to do what email did, in its own way. This week, it's my circle of friends' turn to get their panties in a bunch about the alleged facebook "Price Grid" release. Just like the public posts, it's peppered by comments like "If they're charging, I'm outa here". A light search in the groups section yields that this status infection has been going around since 2010, possibly earlier.

I know that people don't read my blog, but people don't read, PERIOD. It says so on the facebook front page: "It's free, and always will be".

Here is the wonderful thread of public posts from people going ape shit. Not quite as active, but there nonetheless.
